Livsreise (Life’s Journey) is a modern experience dedicated to the many significant stories of Norwegian immigrants who arrived in Stoughton, Wisconsin between the years 1825 and 1924. The integration of interactive storytelling exhibits coupled with 150 year old cherished artifacts makes this heritage center truly unique within the United States. The space exudes the authentic experiences Norwegian emigrants lived through at the turn of the 19th century. Community leaders and delegates from Norway continue to send waves of Norwegian natives to Stoughton to experience Livsreise - a Norwegian-American Treasure.
"This is the greatest integration of digital and historic artifact design I have ever seen."
