Studio Manager / Associate Producer
After graduation from UW-Stevens Point, Mequon native, Emily Jeanpierre accepted her first “adult” job in Madison. Though she was tempted to remain at her parents’ home and stay in her comfort zone around Milwaukee, she figured it was a “now or never moment” and decided to venture out on her own. For the next couple years, Emily used her BA in Interior Architecture and Business Administration to design and space plan cubical after cubical for a commercial office furniture systems company. But she found she needed more variety and creativity in her daily life. During a lunch break, Emily came across an article about ZEBRADOG and fell in love. Having chosen her career path because of a strong belief that design is a major influence on the way people interact with and experience their environment, she was surprised to find a company like ZD existed and wanted to be a part of it. After some inquiries and portfolio presentation, she soon found her way into a seat in the studio’s Garden Level. When she isn’t at the studio keeping us all smiling with her easy going attitude and quick attention to detail, Emily spends her time finding ways to keep both her mind and body active, whether it is running and training, painting and sketching or simply rummaging through garage sales with family and friends. She is the proud owner of one cat, and one cat-dog.
